The long-awaited UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifying tournament Lithuanian champion Šiauliai “Gintra-Universitetas” team started with a victory. In the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi 4:0 (3:0) beat Bardejov Partizan club from Slovakia and “Gintra” recorded it’s first victory in the first selection group.
In the other matches of this group, Izmir’s Konak Belediyespor 5:0 (3:0) surpassed FC Martve’s Kutaisi.
